Vienna State Opera
As one of the world’s leading opera houses, the Vienna State Opera unites a rich tradition with a vibrant present: each season features around 350 performances with more than 60 different opera and ballet works. Night after night, alongside the resident ensemble, international stars appear on stage and at the podium, accompanied in the pit by a unique orchestra: the State Opera Orchestra, whose musicians simultaneously constitute the Vienna Philharmonic. For young audiences, a U27 programme offers selected performance dates; dress rehearsals are also available exclusively for U27. Both can be booked, subject to availability, as mobile tickets via the Ticket Gretchen app.
