NEST

NEST is the Vienna State Opera’s new venue at the Künstlerhaus on Karlsplatz. Since opening in 2024, it has presented an independent programme for young and adult audiences: opera, ballet, music theatre, concert and talk formats, plus workshops. Performances take place in the refurbished hall with stage, orchestra pit and modern technology; the focus is on accessible performances, introductions and participatory offers. Discounted U27 tickets are available as mobile tickets via the Ticket Gretchen app.
