Burgtheater

As Austria’s national theatre, the Burgtheater is the country’s leading drama stage and the largest spoken-theatre venue in Europe, combining tradition, diversity and progression. Performances take place at the main house on Universitätsring as well as the Akademietheater, Kasino am Schwarzenbergplatz and the Vestibül. The programme includes new productions, revivals and discussion formats. For under-27s, discounted contingents are available in the Ticket Gretchen app: selected dates from the start of pre-sale, and all dates from 72 hours before the performance, subject to availability.
