Innsbruck Festival of Early Music

The Innsbruck Festival for Early Music is a world renowned summer festival for music from the Middle Ages to the Classical era, performed in historically informed practice, since 1976. Under Artistic Director Eva-Maria Sens and Music Director Ottavio Dantone, the programme brings together opera productions, orchestral and chamber concerts, and formats for young talents. Performances take place at signature Innsbruck venues that particularly suit early music. The focus is on July and August. The aim is an accessible festival experience with an international outlook and regional roots. U30 audiences benefit from concessions for selected dates, available in the Ticket Gretchen app.
