Akademie St. Blasius

Academy St. Blasius is an Innsbruck-based choir and orchestra association, founded in 1998. Under Artistic Director Karlheinz Siessl, the ensemble focuses on seldom-performed classical repertoire, premieres by Tyrolean composers, and programmes that bridge early music and the present. Performances take place mainly at Innsbruck venues; formats range from subscription concerts to special projects in cooperation with regional partners. Recurring series and themed programmes offer audiences discoveries beyond the standard repertoire.
